Exclusive Report: Jets Look to Reunite with Valuable Wide Receiver Corey Davis as Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams Soar

Corey Davis in talks with Jets for potential reunion

The New York Jets are in discussions to reunite with wide receiver Corey Davis, who was released by the team in March. According to Robert Saleh, the team’s door is always open to him and they are regularly in contact. SNY’s Connor Hughes reported that the Jets are interested in bringing Davis back, which would be beneficial for their wide receiving corps. Alongside Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams, Davis could provide the Jets with a strong receiving group.

Davis took a break from the NFL last August but recently applied for reinstatement, allowing him the potential to make a return to the field. The 6-foot-3 wideout spent the first four years of his career with the Tennessee Titans before signing with the Jets in 2021. During his time in New York, Davis showed promise as a valuable weapon in the offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns. If he rejoins the Jets, Davis could continue to contribute positively to the team’s offense.
