NFL Network Turns to Live Preseason Games for Monetization as Commissioner Eyes Regular-Season Schedule Changes

NFL Network to air 21 live preseason games in 2024

The Commissioner has expressed a preference for replacing preseason games with regular-season games. However, until that change occurs, the league must still find ways to monetize preseason games. As a result, the league-owned network is in need of additional content beyond old games, NFL Films offerings, and Zoom-based studio shows. In response to this need, the NFL Network has announced that it will televise 21 live preseason games.

The NFL Network’s preseason schedule includes three triple-headers on August 10th, 17th and 24th as well as six live games during Week 1 and eight during Week 3. The season will conclude with a matchup between the Saints and Titans on August 25th. For those who watch PFT Live, there was a recent dream predicting a Super Bowl matchup between these two teams at odds of 3,000 to one. Some individuals have even started placing bets on this matchup occurring. It is suggested to place a $10 bet on it – if you lose, it’s on you but if you win, a small share of the winnings would be appreciated.
