Redefining Women’s Health: Midi Health and Neurotrack Collaborate to Tackle Brain Fog in Menopause

Midi Health teams up with Neurotrack to assist in detecting cognitive decline during menopause.

As part of an exciting new collaboration, Midi Health, a clinic specializing in midlife women’s health, has joined forces with Neurotrack, a digital cognitive assessment company. The aim of this partnership is to help women differentiate between symptoms of brain fog related to menopause and those indicative of more severe cognitive conditions like early dementia.

Midi Health clinicians will be able to administer Neurotrack’s cognitive screening to patients via smartphone, tablet, or computer, significantly reducing the time it takes to complete the test to just three minutes. This collaboration will provide women with timely and accurate information about their cognitive health, allowing for early detection and intervention if necessary.

According to Midi Health’s Chief Medical Officer, Kathleen Jordan, brain fog is a common symptom reported by 74% of their patients going through menopause. However, she notes that experiencing brain fog does not necessarily indicate a higher risk of developing dementia. For most women, the Neurotrack screening can offer reassurance, but for a few, it could lead to early detection of dementia, which benefits from early treatment.

Both Midi Health and Neurotrack have recently secured significant funding for their respective businesses. Midi Health recently secured $25 million in Series A funding led by Google Ventures while Neurotrack raised $10 million in 2022 and has been actively partnering with organizations like insurance provider Nationwide to streamline cognitive health assessments for long-term care underwriting.

This collaboration between Midi Health and Neurotrack highlights the importance of early cognitive assessment in women’s health during the menopausal transition. By leveraging digital technologies these companies are making it easier for women to access timely and accurate information about their cognitive well-being ultimately improving outcomes for those at risk of cognitive decline.

As women age they often experience changes in their hormone levels which can lead to symptoms such as brain fog. While these symptoms may seem harmless they can have serious implications if left untreated. With this partnership between Midi Health and Neurotrack women can now receive timely evaluation that will help them understand their cognitive health better.

Overall this partnership is expected to benefit many women who are going through menopause by providing them with an easy way to evaluate their cognitive health which will help them make informed decisions about their care plan.

The future looks bright for both companies as they continue to expand their services across the country while also providing innovative solutions that improve healthcare outcomes for millions of people worldwide
