University of Evansville’s Kynidi Mason Striverson: An Academic All-District and Basketball Star

Mason Striverson earns spot on College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team

Business management major Kynidi Mason Striverson has been recognized for her outstanding performance both on and off the basketball court. Following the 2023-24 women’s basketball season, she was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators. On the court, Mason Striverson averaged 11.5 points per game and led UE in assists with 122 over 32 games. She was one of only three Evansville players to play in all 32 games and the sole player to start in all of them.

Mason Striverson’s academic achievements are just as impressive as her athletic ones. With a cumulative GPA of 3.663, she has earned a spot on the Dean’s List at the University of Evansville twice in two years. To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and either play in 90% of the team’s games or start in 66% of the team’s games.

Mason Striverson’s commitment to both her sport and her studies has earned her this prestigious recognition, highlighting her well-rounded achievements on and off the court. Her dedication to excellence is an inspiration to us all, and we look forward to seeing what she will accomplish next.
