Students have been working in groups to develop their own business concepts and products that they will present at the Creative Showcase. This collaborative effort provides them with practical experience in navigating the dynamics of innovative practices, giving them a taste of what it’s like to work in a business setting.

Anushka Daunt, assistant professor of business administration, believes that this showcase is an essential opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in presenting their work professionally. She emphasizes that it allows students to see how their ideas can be brought into the real world, providing them with valuable insights into entrepreneurship.

The Creative Showcase will feature a wide range of innovations, including new applications for social media usage, cutting-edge medical devices, consumable goods for daily use, and engaging board games. These projects are interdisciplinary in nature, incorporating contributions from various academic departments to showcase the diverse talents of W&L students.

Attendees can expect to see a variety of creative pursuits that highlight the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of the university’s students. It’s an excellent opportunity for everyone who attends to witness firsthand how W&L students are using their skills and knowledge to create innovative solutions for everyday problems.
