Wellness Expo Promotes Colorectal Cancer Awareness and Healthy Living in Monticello

Wellness Expo to be Hosted by Jefferson & Madison County Health Departments

The Jefferson and Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee have organized a wellness expo to celebrate National Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month. The event will feature more than 30 vendors and take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m.

Administrator Kimberly Allbritton emphasizes the importance of events like this, especially during National Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month. She highlights the significance of raising awareness about colo-rectal health and providing valuable information to the community. The expo will include free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations by Second Harvest of the Big Bend, making it an excellent opportunity for people to learn more about healthy living in the Monticello area.
