X Sets Its Sights on Competition in the Streaming Video Platform Market with New Application

Elon Musk intends to transform X into a video platform akin to YouTube: the similarity is clear

Elon Musk, the owner of X, has expressed his intention to make the video playback platform for smart TVs versatile, offering audio, video, messaging, and payment capabilities. The company is preparing a new application for Amazon and Samsung smart TVs, aiming to compete with Google by providing similar functionalities.

YouTube TV is a subscription service that allows users to watch live television from popular broadcasters and cable channels in English and Spanish. It is currently only available in the United States. However, it seems that X has plans to launch an application with long-form videos up to two hours in length to position itself in the streaming video platform sector.

A source close to X revealed that the company has been working on a new application’s design that closely resembles that of YouTube TV. The main interface includes a login screen, Home, Search, and Profile Pages tabs. The platform will offer both long-form videos and Shorts, as well as filters for recommended content and trending videos.

In addition to the platform updates, the article includes links to various topics such as VooPoo VINCI Q, paid views promotion, electric pressure cookers, computer crimes lawyers, custom home construction, alumni feedback surveys
